A veteran of NYC’s electronic music underground, Janus Rose has evolved her sound constantly over more than a decade. Producing hip-shaking bass and techno anthems on everything from modular synthesizers to the Nintendo Game Boy, both her original compositions and DJ style incorporate a strong DIY ethos, drawing heavily from the languages of cyberfeminism and queer rave culture.
Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, she has performed both live hardware and DJ sets at clubs across the U.S., as well as in Europe, Australia, and Japan. In 2023, she began releasing music on the LA-based queer imprint Delusional Records, as well as hosting Soft_Reset, a local party for experimental club and bass music.
